Is it easy to register and is there a charge?
Yes, it only takes 5 minutes to register. There is an annual subscription fee of just $25 USD. You simply need to provide all the required information on theRegistration Page, and pay your subscription fee. You will quickly receive two emails after you are completed containing your login credentials, that will allow you to bid on all the auction cars listed on this website.
| Do you allow inspection of the auctions cars before the sale?
Yes, you just need to visit the Copart facility where the auction for cars is to be held. Auction cars are available for inspection from 8:00am to 4:30pm Monday through Friday. We encourage you to inspect all auction cars you may want to bid on prior to the sale day. Please remember a salvage vehicle or any other type of vehicle is sold AS IS - WHERE IS and ALL SALES ARE FINAL.

Can I get my security deposit refunded to me?
Yes, you can request a security deposit refund, if your offer is not the winner during Copart’s virtual auction. You can also chose to keep your security deposit on fund, to support an offer on any cars at auction in the future. You forfeit the security deposit and pay a penalty fee if you don’t meet all the payment terms or cancel a purchase.
| Is there a transaction fee?
We charge a broker fee of $250 USD for non-Florida residents, $350 USD for Florida residents, or 5% of the sale price of the vehicle, whichever is higher. This is in addition to Copart buyer fees, and other fees that may include Copart’s late payment or storage fees. You will also be required to pay sales tax as with any other vehicle purchase. Please look at our Fees Table for details.

Can I go to Copart.com and bid there directly instead?
Copart requires that you register with www.SalvageReseller.com, our Copart Registered Broker site. Only then can you bid on cars at auction directly at Copart.com. For more information, as well as a comparison of the sites, you just need to click here.
| Where and when can I pick up the vehicle once the sale is finalized?
Salvage cars are available for pick up at the Copart location where the auction for cars was held. You can pick up your vehicle as soon as it is paid in full, all documents you have signed are returned to us, and we have a copy of your identification. Please arrange to pick up auction cars during business hours.

Do you offer shipping or delivery?
We are unable to offer shipping or delivery of any cars at auction. However, you can go to our Transporters page, and list your shipment before ever bidding on a car at auction. You can also get an estimate on shipping for your salvage car. We do not require the use of any service listed; you might be able to save money by finding your own towing or transport company. Most auto transport companies are familiar with auctions of cars and can provide any services you may need.
| Do you inspect auction cars?
Unfortunately, we are unable to inspect auction cars for purchasers. We provide an Inspectors page where you can search for inspectors by Copart facility or language. We recommend that you not only view the cars at auction before bidding, but also have them inspected as well, if a car for auction interests you. No matter what the circumstances are regarding the condition of a vehicle at an auto auction, they are sold AS IS-WHERE IS and ALL SALES ARE FINAL.
