This is the restoration of an original one owner 300se from Spain with 25,000 Kilometers. This car is well preserved down to the original factory undercoating.
The restoration brief is to resolve problems with the air suspension, complete re-paint & engine rebuild. Preservation works to include interior & chassis / floor detailing.

Built in the final year of the model's production, this right-hand drive example of Mercedes' W112 300 SE Cabriolet is attractively finished in silver with maroon leather interior and grey carpet. The hood has been renewed, and attention given to the carpets and interior trim whilst more recently the car has benefitted from a general overhaul and service by a Mercedes main dealer. The four-speed automatic gearbox has also been overhauled at a cost of c.£1500 and the power steering serviced. One of just 92 original right-hand drive cars produced, the vendor now regards the bodywork, paintwork, 3-litre 6-cylinder engine, interior trim and transmission as all being in "good" condition. The odometer currently registers approximately 61,000 miles.
Offered with Swansea V5 document, owner's manual and sundry invoices, this rare and imposing motor car is expected to possess a fresh MoT by the time of sale.
